Isdn And Vg

Is there a Dialogic ISDN card with fewer than 24(T1 US?) or 30(E1 UK?) lines, that VG can use? (I am in the UK and not sure if I want T1/E1, think its E1=30 lines for europe, yes?)

 

Or, If I get a E1 card, can i only use say 4 or 8 lines?

 

I would like to use the call setup and info features of ISDN, but don't need the huge line capacity and costs!

Soem phone companies can provide an E1 ISDN line with only 10 or 20 channels enabled on it, and similarly with T1 ISDN some provide with only 8 or 16 channels enabled - have a chat with your local phone companies...

Okay thanks - So the minimum ISDN Dialogic card is a full "span" of channels (24/30), but you can only use say 8 or 10 if leave the rest "vacant/unused" or is there a smaller channel count ISDN dialogic card option available?

Yes. Speak with your phone companies if they provide such 'fractional' services.
